Buddy System

One of ESN Riga casual activities is organizing a buddy network. Buddies are mentors for incoming exchange students - their first Latvian friends. All Latvian students, returning form exchange, are offered to share their experience becoming a part of ESN team and/or buddies. Recently we have involved also students just planning to go abroad, thus giving them opportunity to gain intercultural collaboration skills and improve their languages.

Before semester starts, we organize special trainings for new buddies; as well ESN Riga provides a recommendation letter for all ESN members and buddies willing to go in exchange.
