Introduction week Spring'10

Introduction week

(1st- 5th of February, 2010)

At the beginning of the February– young, hopeful and vigorous students. We can talk especially about last one, because it`s not easy to remember any other semester in which students had been so active in events, organized by ESN Riga team.

And the introduction week can start! February 1th - time to introduce the students with a place where they will spend the next semester. Maybe we can’t show them all Riga, but we can show the heart of that for sure. We called it „Tour in the Old Town of Riga”.

Next day, February 2th, comes with next task. In an early afternoon students of the economics and management discover a place where they will get new friends, new experience, new knowledge - the Faculty of Economics and Management of University of Latvia. They are having an excursion there

. After two days full of new information – it`s time to move a little bit further. In this case – is there something better than bowling? A little bit of activities, a little bit of team work and a lot of fun.

Even students can feel – formal part is over, it’ s time for a thing which makes feel alive – spirit of competition. Why not try a pub crawl? Let`s be honest – parties and student life are almost synonyms.

And then comes Friday, the day of rest, especially for the guys who worked so hard all this week. The students are having a new invitation in their e-mail – this time it’ s ice-skating in the LIDO recreation center and afterwards traditional Latvian dinner in the same place.

After a hard week of work, it’s time for all of us to come together and finish this week, but it’s already another story.
