Paintball

On a wet and grey weekend day ESN Riga joined Erasmus students to go to the woods and enjoy a day by the nature - at the paintball grounds.

A bus full of foreign students stopped next to a house in Saulkrasti. Everybody got an army uniform and after explanation of the game rules we were ready to start. The game looks rather easy while watching, but makes your blood pressure and adrenalin raise sky high, when running around the hunting grounds and keeping your eyes on the enemy.

After several games of the paintball tournament and finals a winner of the competition was found. When the dusk was falling, it was time to have something to eat. Sausages and meat were prepared on the campfire and after a while a warm dinner was served in the nearby place called Katrīnbāde. This was also where the bunch stayed for the night and got the chance to see how people party outside Riga. Early on Sunday morning, when everybody was tired, the bus took us back to Riga.
